Online traffic measurement company comScore Media Metrix released yesterday statistics showing that 94 million people, or 56% of the U.S. Internet population, watched streaming video in June. Over the three months ending in June 2005, the average user viewed 73 minutes of streaming video content per month.
Not surprisingly, men account for more than half, 61%, of the Internet viewer audience, while young men (18-34) watch the most amount of streaming video, 84 minutes per month.
