In a move that further blurs the lines between broadcast TV and the Internet, Yahoo! unveiled this morning a new site that will feature premiere episodes of new network series from CBS, NBC and Fox. “Vanished” and “Prison Break,” both from Fox, will premiere on Yahoo! after their initial broadcast airings, as will “Jericho” from CBS and “Heroes” from NBC.
The new site is also a slick guide to the networks’ TV schedules, as well as show clips and sneak peeks. ABC appears on the site with clips, previews and schedule information, but as of yet, no full episodes are slated to appear. The new network, the CW, which is a combination of the old WB and UPN Networks, is also on the new Yahoo! site with schedule information and clips.
