Top 16 Articles That Feature 2008 Predictions

As promised, I've compiled a list of the top articles that feature 2008 projections. (Same caveat applies...these are actually the only tech-oriented 2008 outlook articles I've read.) As you might expect, most of the predictions outlined in these pieces are of the shooting-fish-in-a-barrel kind -- e.g. "wireless communications will become more important in 2008" or "more business will use social networking tools."

Some, however, are refreshingly specific. One BBC correspondent predicts that Hillary Clinton will actually win the presidency while Jon Fine of Business Week predicts that Google will develop a set-top box operating system for cable companies.

Almost all of the articles are slightly fun to peruse. Below is a table that lists the articles, the publications and, if you're not in a mood to read, my key take-away from the prognostications.
